Before you ask, yes, I’m an adult. At least, legally I am. With that out of the way, I fucking love Justice League. Which, should be obvious because what kind of person doesn’t love Justice League, child or otherwise? Batman, with the darkness and trauma inside him but with such a strong dedication to doing good. Superman, always portrayed as a goody two-shoes, is secretly irritating but always honest and looking to do what is right, but… honestly, the best part about him is his ongoing rivalry with Lex Luthor. Wonder Woman , because women deserve to see themselves as strong and mighty and worthy of respect. Flash, the fun one who can make light of the heaviest situations.
I know you are familiar with coloring since we all have to do it at elementary school and some of us in middle school, and even possibly in high school for some of those very annoying biology/chemistry charts. Shit. I was still coloring in college when I was taking all those fancy, expensive art classes. That’s all beside the point. New information has come to light about the de-stressing capabilities of coloring. It is being recommended by therapists across the world for dealing with anxiety, depression, and for coping with daily stresses and to de-cloud and relax the mind..
So naturally, given these therapeutic benefits, it only makes sense for you to color what you know and love to connect even more with this relaxing activity. Coloring is not just for kids and Crayola anymore. You can even get creative with these coloring books by trying oil pastels, markers , wax crayons, and different types of colored pencils. Maybe be even more fancy by picking up some paint and paint brushes and making this an all out, self caring, art fest.
So what are we doing with these coloring books after we finished them? Well, I for one am framing them, putting them in envelopes and sitting down as small gifts to friends,
You don’t have to color alone. Invite a friend, or surprise someone who you know is having a rough day… Or a rough life. ???
